GODs ONLY SON
Then the Lord said to Moses,“Make a snake image and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover. —Numbers 21:8 CSB (Old Testament Bible) Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. —John 3:14 CSB (New Testament Bible) God’s Only Son Born into this world, filled with strife, God’s only son given to us. Present, his beating heart, his life. His great mercy to bless, not cuss. This time around, he offers grace. God’s only son given to us. Sinners did look upon his face, Even as he hung on the cross. This time around, he offers grace. As his blood ran cold, they saw loss. A lamb before them, they didn’t know, Even as he hung on the cross. The Great Sacrifice was made, O! Christ walked out of the grave, sure did. A lamb before them, they didn’t know. Killed him, Satan thought he could rid. Born into this world, filled with strife. Christ walked out of the grave, sure did. Present, his beating heart, his life.
