The Great Catching Away part six
"Ronnie, honey,"Do you really believe that's it all about the numbers as far as our God is concerned?" Asked her concerned husband, Bob. "Yes, Bobby, sweetie pie, I really do and boy oh boy Tommy, you really do pick the right timing to kick your mommy! You can believe it or not, hubby, but our good Lord Jesus Christ just revealed to me that the very last person to be raptured before the numerical number of the church of Christ is to be completed. On this exact coming Sunday morning's early church service, is going to walk right on through our church's back door. And everybody is gonna be very surprised when they find out who in the world she is!" laughed his wife Ronnie. "Let's get this one thing straight, the last person to be saved is gonna be a female and not another male?" laughed her husband, Bobbie right back at her. "Yes, she's gonna be a young girl and not an 18 year old legal adult but that's it honey child, and there ain't no more that I know cause that's all our good Lord would reveal to me!" When early Sunday morning finally arrived, there was a young girl wearing a wide broad-brim light tan hat, faded blue jeans, a baggy blue shirt, and a flannel poncho. She had dark blue eyes and scraggy dark blond hair and her dirty muddy boots were calf length. A cigarette home made was firmly between her teeth and she was carrying a battered looking guitar case. She was only just barely fourteen years old yesterday and she was a runaway fugitive from justice and wanted very badly by every law enforcement communities of all of the lower 48 states. She plunked herself down on the back pew where the ushers were seated and put her wide brimmed dirty hat over her eyes and started snoring very loudly and rudely. In her mind were running the thoughts, 'just try and make my day!' But when it came time for the alter call, she was the very last one willing to respond. Peace had tried everything she could think of but Christianity. It was time to try that before she could kick her last bucket on her bucket list and turned out her lights for good this coming time around. 'Once you're dead you're gonna be dead for good and the dead remember nothing!' She blindly thought. 'Death ain't nothing more or nothing less than falling fast asleep for the last time and never ever waking up again!' She carefully pondered to herself. She tossed her unlit cigarette on the carpet and quickly ran to the alter. Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea 1954 11/28/23
