A Dark Cloud of Pain and Gloom Has Left Me In a World of Doom
Luck is something hard to find Will someone just give me a sign Saying my life will get better So rain clouds don't keep me wetter Everyday with something new That just always leave me blue Like finding out a bad disease Is gonna bring me to my knees And I have just months to live Just once universe please give Me something glad to share So I know you truly care And not send me a bad note Leaving a lump in my throat That my house is in foreclosure And being dropped by a bulldozer I just want one happy day Where everything will be O.K. But that's not my kind of luck I wish that I could just tuck All this pain and sorrow in A furnace so once I can win But it doesn't happen soon When the worst of my sad gloom Knocks on my door with the look Telling me somebody took My sons life inside a war Tugging at the very core Of my existence and whole world Their deadly words made my heart twirl Into a broken pieces pile Knowing now and for a while That dark cloud flying overhead Left my world lonely and dead
