One More Chance
I can feel the heat raging inside me and sweat purging out of my flesh, it is a sudden sensation that comes upon me that leaves me grasping for breath. The sun has just risen casting rays of hope upon the earth and ripening the fruits on the trees while the sun flowers stand boldly in the field bowing their head towards the East and absorbing the temperature from sun scorched hill. I walked around the block seeking a path out of the dark and looking for a place to make a brand-new start but the stagnant energy is moving around disrupting every tissue and muscle in the town. I cannot do anything about it, I just have to wait for it to dissolve in thin air. My flesh is bound up with my emotion and I feel as if am standing in a vast space beyond the ocean, it's just me alone standing there with hands stretched out on both sides whispering a silent payer to the sky and the universe standing beside me reasoning with my conscious mind. It is that intangible moment that you cannot see; that moment that keeps yearning for thee, and if you could only count from one to three your inner intellect would reveal some conscious thing from the depth of earth that will enlighten your soul. Here I am in this cramped space looking for way to escape from the race but so many people have fought for you and their survival depends on you, there’s got to be another way and you have got to lead the people to find the hidden path where they can knock the dust off their feet and hold their shoe up to the sky; you have got to break the emotional dependency and hold strong to the limb that hangs over the reservoir. Keep your focus on your dream and let go of what you have never seen. It is the little distractions that hurt you on the way; it is the little distractions that cause your spirit to go astray, I don’t have any ambition, but I would like to see those that I love walk hand in hand. While the temperature is raging and the river is flowing keep focusing on your goals and your spirit will be strong before you grow old. A glimpse of life pop up on the screen as they march through the forest in search of their dream, a dream that is not man made but is carved on the wall with ink and dye and the pressure cookers in the bushes loaded with hot food and a wooden spoon on a plate sits in the bushes waiting for you. Be careful how you walk towards the bait. The temperature is hot but I can’t do anything about that, be careful how you hang around, picnics in the bushes can leave hole in to the ground. I have to get this horrible feeling out of my stomach before it explodes. It’s Friday for heaven's sake and I still don’t have a date, I am waiting behind the big gate so please don’t be late.
