Whisper of the Darkness
This is a story I have never ever told; A dark memory I shall unfold. You thought you had me fooled, But I know my worth more than anyone should. I could not sleep, how unfair; For those whispers gave me nightmare. I remembered that moment so well, but it left me traumatized to even tell. I thought of getting away from you. Well, who am I kidding? I always do. I begged you to stop. But all you did was laugh. I closed my eyes until I can't see. Until darkness fully succumb me. I closed my ears until I can't hear. Until the silence became my fear. I closed my mouth until I can't speak. Without words, I became weak. I closed my fist until I can't feel. For I know that these hands could kill. They mimick your voices Until my sanity loses. I got lost— could not find a map. That's why I begged them to stop. As I rolled over my bed. Repeatedly, I hear the voices in my head. I concluded that it was the devil, Who's making me do things out of my will. I received so many beacons. I know I'm stronger than my demons. Or so I thought. 'Cause little did I know, those demons fought. I tried to halt my tears that sparkles like a star, As I stop myself creating another scar. It was the last thing that I would want to see, But the whisper of the darkness took control of me.
