On the Dawn of Morning
In this trying time I try to find courage in living To feel the essence of my breath In the ravaging moments of a conscious treachery Chaos echoes at my sanity As I question my existence In the presence of storms what is life's worth I try to find the essence to all existence Should we persevere in the spree of stumbling obstacles Can one be calm with the touch of burning lava In the awe for inspiration I search in desolate places to find happiness Although I know this search is vain The illusions of a perfect life has continually romanced my fantasies As I constantly clash in the pyramid of my thought patterns I ask questions to seek life's bliss In this fast life Dreams soon shatters In the consciousness of impending adversity My mind rovers again Like the planetary orbitals If this is just another chapter for a predestined fate This and others I would never know As a philosopher I constantly seek understanding But the passage to the truth only links the door to another unlocked pathway Creating barriers as one predicament is solved Though I continually grief in this scenery I still pray for a day when all things are made equal And happiness is a gift lying in every heart
