Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I remember when I first came here…. How can I get on page one and have my picture there? And now, after a number of years, I think I was looney. I mean who was I trying to impress? And do you know what? I have no answer. I still have pages printed when I was number three commenter? There’s no way I would ever do that again. I found there was something called life, family, friends. Thar Poetry Soup, was not my entire life. Oh yes, big deal I was in the first anthology, but so what? I remember going about telling people I was a poet? It gave me a real rush to say that, back then. What now? I don’t want to be on the front page.!. There is room for far talented others. I don’t need my picture anymore on the front page, To validate who I am.who I am as a human being. Nor would I stay online all day like I used to. That was-so wildly bizarre . I’m glad I have the friends I do and the friends that left? Left! It’s marvelous to be free of seeking admiration! I’d rather honor just a few and have friends true blue! So if you don’t see me around or running for trophies, Just know, it is just not my thing!! I’ll applaud you when I am here…………… For some of you, will always be dear…….. Write free……….be free………….
