I Crossed the Road and It Was Worth It
I walked across the road Defiantly strode Arrived somewhere else To be alone with myself It's strange that's how I like to be When I'm definitively not a fan of me But I went inside Advised I must hide The packet of chocolate pretzels in hand I stated that I really do understand Put them in my pocket right away I'm a little compliant sunshine ray I wasn't looking for anything at all When I spotted an original Marc Chagall I'll definitely write about that later tonight I can't believe it was in my line of sight You can't tell by my face I'm thinking whoopie Sometimes emotion isn't that easy to see I'll stride back again now Start considering how I'll work through til 5 oclock Ahh that little treat in my pock(et) Will help me it's true Might get a Starbucks too
