My Dog Sassy
My house echos with laughter with my Sassy girl She will be two in November energizing my world Watching her two little older brothers makes her glad picks up all their habits the good and the bad. Her left ear points up like a spear reaching for the sky Her right ear lazily droops down to the side Her nose is black and her eyes are brown with a white face and a dark spot on her crown. She loves to run and run and is playful to the bite for she chews on her brothers as they scatter in fright she gets so excited she jumps and whines her tail wags so fast as if she was wind She is still a little shy and cautious with new She steals the boys treat and toys ever so shrewd She barks as loud as thunder and rapid as gunfire ever alert and guarding to all dogs she would inspire. Yet she still has a puppy face and looks so cute but growls like a grizzly bear to strangers aloof Though she is still a little clumsy in my heart she resides for every night in my bed she will sleep by my side.
