Month To Month
Autumn is finally here and there is so much to share, the leaves are getting red and there is no place to bury the dead, salvation has fallen on its bare back and there is no way that it is coming back it is sinking in the ground and love is floating around, we try to resurrect it from the dead but the noisy jubilee kept parading in the street and the priest and the cardinals have resorted to a private ceremony and so salvation has reached its final destiny. I want to make a brand-new start with salvation in my heart so I packed my suitcase and walked straight the dark. I went on a business trip and the cares of this world has taking a dip. I closed the door and made my way towards the shore. I was in a great hurry and shortly before noon I board the ferry for the appointed journey. The engine roared through the water, cutting through the south then it pivots to the east with a body of water moving swiftly behind the Ferry in the deep and the heavenly clouds rolling beneath us. Something was in the air causing mankind to fear, the skies suddenly turned grey with a multitude of birds flying in different direction, then the wind begins to blow and the ferry starts swinging to and fro. The driver puts in an extra gear and speeds the boat all the way to the other side if the shore, while the passenger sits with grim faces frightened out of their wits held on tightly to the railing. The experience was quite sobering. The ferry docked close to Market Street and something, unusual start disrupting my heart beat, the vendors sprawling out in the street fussing over their goods. Lots of bargain in the Chiney man town, retail and wholesale goods spread out on the ground, big shipment on the wharf and the men bargaining in the dark You have more vendors than customers and more shoppers than buyers, they don’t have a stable salary and they survive on a month-to-month charity grant. No money is in the cash machine you have interrupted my lifelong dreams, I have to throw the old barrel out the door and welcome the new barrel on the shore. I will fill it up to the brim so gather team and explain the dream, resources are running low and you have to fill up the new barrel to complete the show. Before the day is done you will have a meeting with Uncle Sam and he will give you a check to cross over the land. You can seal the deal with a month to month steering wheel and a flood light at the tail to guide you through the gate.
