Music Or Static
Just the same song, over and over. So that the music is just sounds, and people who are part of those sounds, And soon, I am part of the cycle of sounds. When the song would stop, I would hear all the static again. Static in my ears that will get too strong if it continues… And static can continue forever, and it can eventually sound like a song too. Music is less ominous though. And music is for everyone! Everyone can hear this song that is like energy. Music connects us. Until the song turns gray and grinding in the night. And now the song… IS the static. Even after turning it off so that no one can hear… I’m just trying to hear the crickets and the snoring or something! Because I know I’m not alone in this world… But all I get is- Just the same static. Over and over.
