Just In Time
You have caught the withered section of my soul just in time before it grows old, you have caught the beauty of my heart just before it begins to get dark. You have been chasing after your dreams and, lingering in the middle of the stream, you have been holding court and rocking in the middle of the boat, how far do you think you could get before you start grasping for breath? From the minute you walk through the door the boat starts appearing on the shore. I woke up this morning shortly after midnight, and I felt as if I was just coming out of a brutal fight, my face was normal, my jaw was intact and my breathing was o.k. I had no broken bones and all my vital signs were normal so I pour some water over my face to chase the sordid feelings away. What on earth this could have been? I felt as if I had committed a terrible sin, I had just lay down to take a nap when something catapults me from the back, it is the jerk that you usually feel when you are on the Ferris wheel. I was not flying in a jet plane at an altitude that sometimes makes you feel lame. It is the turbulence in the sky that sometimes makes some people fall from the plane and die. I tried desperately to escape from my soul and each step I take, it makes me feel bold but I could not find a secure path to escape from the dark and so I looked at the lining of my heart All the vessels attached to the circulatory system and the oxygen and nutrients within were functioning . The valves are working; and the blood is flowing in the right direction. Sometimes the burden feels like seven pounds, another time it feels like fifteen pounds and sometimes it weighs ninety -five pounds and it keeps dragging me around. I felt dehydrated and hot so I drank three bottles of water and I got my energy back and all of a sudden, I start wearing a brand-new pair of socks. The nights are short and the days are long but courage keeps carrying me along,. If I had to live this life all over again, I would spend most of it with my special friend, we would travel to different countries and sample their culture. We would eat at every restaurant and write hundreds of books. I would build some new technology that would really make world happy and create a global charity to help those in crisis. This life is wonderful, it is divine and you must remember that nothing happens before the time. Let’s take a ride on the train.
