Broken
Broken By lady Arabella Just like when a mirror shatters and the pieces fall away The we deal with in life can get heavy some days Trust is fragile and can easily fray All the colours fade to grey The world is full of people that are broken Words to hard to say so they are left unspoken As humans we stop to stare at our reflection pretend we are okay because we have learnt the art of deflection But sometimes the pieces that shatter leave a scar that cuts deep We all lie wide awake at night unable to sleep We’re taught that love comes forth like sunshine after rain But we’re not always taught how to process or heal from pain Every human sees darkness and we all need a light that guides our way So whenever you feel broken , speak up and don’t be afraid to say A listening ear and a helping hand may be all that a person needs To plant happiness in those darkest seeds The pieces may not fully repair But having someone there helps the cracks to fade just by showing you care A mirror once broken can piece together a new and safer reflection Where there isn’t the need for deception or deflection So learn to stop hiding your imperfections
