A Broken Record
A broken record, gracefully posed in emotion Arch of the wrist, scorched notes that came before keys of safety, memories of old, hidden away Digitally found glory interrupting true calling, behind closed doors Dragging out every distraction, feet firmly planted to the floor Smoke and mirrors running on empty Withered feathers forgiving myself once again. "Done, what's done" It's not about moving on; here I shall remain What a beautiful sight you are forever in the distance A bridge too far, Ignorance got me close... once ....Oh, how truth flows when all is lost "Time to be in motion, life doesn't pay for itself" ...One or two answers I would never push one's time away express till your heart is content Just please, look into my eyes! Do not stray my focus is endless And so, I continue to fight with or without myself knowing ...I know, of course I know... Locked away too long to not! Wondering if someone will understand this when I am finally gone? Echoes: "I've known from the beginning, just blinded by what was 'seen' as important". Until now. Curse those scratches! ....Hidden track. Cannot block out the falseness behind it all A crescendo of truth shatters the illusion's wall
