Jesus Is the Chief Capstone Rejected By You Builders Acts 4:10-12 Part One
Acts 4:10-12 Peter and John were called before the Sanhedrin members of the Sadducees for healing a a crippled man in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Acts 4:10-12 then know this you people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. He is the stone that you builders rejected which has become the capestone (foundational stone) ''' Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given to men by which we we must be saved. Romans 3:21-25 Righteousness Through Faith being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. "This is why it was credited to him as righteousness," The words "it was credited to Him as righteousness," were not written for him for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will accredit righteousness--for us who believe in him who raised Jesus the Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and raised to life for our justification. John 14:5-7 Jesus the Way to the Father Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going so, how can we know the way?" Jesus answered him, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know him and have seen him. Jesus was sent down from heaven not to do his own will but the will of the Father, who sent him down to earth. He meant that they were one in accordance and one in agreement with one another in complete and perfect harmony. That is what he was trying so very hard to explain to Thomas, the question mark disciple. Those religious builders by rejecting God the Son, in like manner also rejected God, the Father. Because Jesus claimed, "I and my Father are one." By rejecting the capstone they also rejected the cornerstone of our faith, none other than Jesus Christ, Himself. Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit John 14:15-19 If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him, or knows him. But you know him, for he lives in you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; before long I will come to you. Before long the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you shall also live. Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea 1954 08/20/23
