Wired Whispers
Chisel away at the brick, Seen through dark rings, One's fading bliss, Never too old to glimpse that sensual feeling, Behind closed doors, My eternal wanting ignored, Or not allowed to express? Missed the mark on potential, care to touch, Tugged back too far, Lost in the new black, Remain where I stand, "Block out that Sun," It's knowing I'll witness again, Not of my choosing, "Yes, just change the words for something more inspiring." Out of one's control, Flows down the pipeline from the other world, My puppeteer, Content on stamping out any balance I may have found, Those whispers in the ears, Electric currents controlling every direction, Listened carefully throughout the years, Transmissions, "Don't make me repeat again." What is it they want me to find? When they are controlling the strings! I am for the audience's amusement, prolonging my demise, Within their forever-changing storyline, I guess I'll let it go, Even if they won't.
