Shadowy Heaven
Written: August 12, 2023 ______________________________________________________________ I meant for you to learn my love, my dear. That you are everything to me, pellucid clear In utter oblivion, your genius shines bright. A radiant beacon—my guiding light Here in the gloom, your glow never fades. Such a lighthouse, you illuminate my shades. With every flicker—my heart ignites. You are the flame that stokes the chilly nights. In my moments of despair and sorrow You are the shining ray of hope for tomorrow. You're always there—in my darkest hour. A comforting presence, a love that empowers When the world is cold and filled with doubt You bestow warmth and love—no need to pout. With your gentle embrace—my fears subside. In your arms, I find solace—a place to hide. And when the morning sun begins to rise, I wake up to the beauty that lies in your eyes. You're still here, my love. A love that's unshaken—as pure as a dove Through the storms and trials, we face You remain steadfast—a source of grace. I just wanted you to feel, my love, my dear That you are the reason, my ears could hear I wake up with a smile—free from any fear. You're my rock—my anchor, always near. In a world filled with chaos and strife You bestow peace and harmony in my life. You're my sanctuary, my safe haven. In your embrace, I find I can be forgiven. I just wanted you to feel, my love, my dear That you are everything to me, lucid clear.
