Heart's Tango
You can rip my heart out, Stamp upon the ground, Give it an hour, Returned loving sounds. Lost and found, Where shall I lay? Give and take, Content on either way. Remaining in the dark, A place I have always laid, The glimpses of light are few and far between, Haven't asked where upon you take me. Going with feeling, A reflection on what might be, Easily led, Prop me up again. Entering another circle, How will this one end? ...Started well, discussed colors, Not exciting enough? Formulating a plan, is that what's needed? If a certain result should surface but I am not, I am here, Never asked to be taken out of my slumber. Damn your power! Back facing the ground, Pick me up and dust me off, My energy knows no bounds. I'll end up feeling it tomorrow, no doubt, Act my way out of this, No longer heart on the sleeve, Obviously my truth is not wanted, Whatever that is.
