The Quest For Savings
A customer wandered into the post office fair, Seeking to send a package with the utmost care. Billy, a coworker with a smile so bright Welcomed her presence, ready for the fight. "Two-day shipping will cost $10.95," he proclaimed. "To get it there by Friday, as we've claimed." The customer, frugal and wise, Sought a way to save a few extra dimes. "The package," she said with a sly grin, "Don't need to arrive till Saturday, my kin. Is there a way to make that come true? While keeping my wallet from feeling blue?" Billy pondered for a moment, then nodded his head. "Of course, dear customer," he said, "You can bring it back tomorrow instead. By choosing a different shipping thread, We can meet your desired destination." The customer's eyes lit up with delight. As she saw her chance to save that night. As she still needs to pay for some transportation. She grabbed her package, eager and keen. Knowing she had found a frugal routine. The next day, she returned with a gleam in her eye. Ready to conquer the world, she held her savings high. Billy greeted her with a knowing grin. As he handed her a form to fill in. She wrote down the new shipping option, With a sense of pride and satisfaction. The package was sent without delay. With a promise to arrive on Saturday. The customer left the post office that day. With a skip in her step, feeling quite okay. She had conquered the quest for savings, you see. And now she felt as free as could be. She ended up paying the same $10.95 cost. And thought, had found a way to avoid being lost.
