What Flies In My Bones and Floats Through My Soul
Sometimes, we put things to work in order to feel seen And when there's no applaud, no praises We think we are less of a being Sometimes, we crave validation We crave affirmations When there are times we hate ourselves We feel the difficult that we can't communicate at times Afraid if anyone are bound to listen Sometimes, we think that we're an island living in tranquility and peace Until one day we find ourselves caving out and looking for affection How long will it be enough for us to live in our shells? Acting as if we're programmed to be someone else we fore-seek Why do we put so much weight on these baggage All I see lately are soulless creatures standing with feet walking on earth they take advantage of Wearing medals of facade that their characters are as if negotiable They often look down as if you have got nothing in your hand to offer And will treat you to your great abomination when you have the full potential And they play pretend afterward they open your latent The great lanterns you see flying up to the skies are where I scream out my frustrations at loud As if I have held them in centuries to release the heavy, the pain, the bothersome of what humanity does, and the pretense that slowly seem through my naked eyes So, why? These questions are running through And I just could not hide what my pain expresses towards you Am I meant to be sorry for something that caused me despair? Or can we just become a little human- filled with compassion and empathy Why do we lack so much of it while we swim on the materialistic What's the problem with humanity? It is both a blessing and a curse to read out loud the energy in this room I could leave anytime, but I uphold a change of heart
