A Friend' Deal
Here we go again calling ourselves friends; here we go again disputing the same things over and over so that we can cross over again. You have an ambitious mind looking for what is divine, but I am not in tune with your mind and life can be deceiving. I can still see this little girl holding an old brief case, she was just four years old but she was walking like a dignitary boarding that helicopter that was assigned to pick her up. She was so brave and fearless; I still wonder where she went but that little girl was God sent. I remember sharing this dream with Miwa by the stream; Miwa is a Japanese friend that stood by me when I got lost in New York City. We spent lots of spiritual moments together talking about paradise on earth and heaven running a marathon without skirt, and destiny meeting by the brooks holding court in the sand. We talk philosophy, bible, music and geography and about the evangelist shouting on the screen. We laugh and talked about the funny face dog sticking out its tongue. She was a real friend, we had little in common but we got along because of her ability to listen. She always look forward to our meeting just to listen to my dream and when that Italian pastor came along and took her hand I was happy for her but jealousy kept knocking on my door, our meeting became less and he took up her time and attention but all of a sudden he became sick and she spent her time and energy on him. I got a job and move out of New York City. I missed our meetings and Time Square greetings; and happy moment drinking tea in the cafe. She was the only person I could talk to and when all of that was gone, it was like everything was lost but on that cold winter day in the midst of the snow Miwa braved the cold and come to my office at the university to help me complete a design project. I had not seen her for almost a year and when I needed help the most she was there. It was a miracle from the sky that night. We worked all night in the office until the next day to complete the project. She has a unique graphic design skills and sometimes it gives me the chills. Our relationship was pure and platonic with no strings attached and when I succeed in something she is always excited. Here we go again calling ourselves friends, yet we never meet or spent time to greet. Our friendship is one of a kind and it makes us divine, it can’t be broken it cannot mend; we have to be with each other to the very end. Good friends understand each other even when they are not together their hearts are always together from the North Pole to the South Pole, stretching from the East to the West. I am always hearing your voice rumbling in the night and that alone comforts me. Here we go again sitting at the negotiation table with my friend looking for a deal for the journey to complete. For heaven's sake we are friends we can comprise to the end, just take your men and leave that place you have nothing to defend .You can start life all over again. You must do everything in your power to stop the missile and rockets brawl. We can work out a deal to set both parties free. You must give me back all my territory, my oil field and my land, you won’t have to face the international court or take the boat from the black sea. All sanction will be dropped and you must open an account and send ten billion dollars to help rebuild my infrastructure. You will supply us with oil for five years at no cost and you must never enter or cross our borders again; here we go again.
