A Walk On the Beach
A Walk On The Beach I watched the ocean kiss the sun as it set beyond the sea The crescent moon told the waves to relax and find your calm, A melody played in the breeze as Mother Nature played her song And the stars appeared one by one as I listened to her psalm. I watched the footprints of the past being taken by the waves As I stepped into the future God reminded me of grace, It is healthy to remember as you ponder with the stars Your journey is your destiny and your dreams are there to chase. I watched a couple holding hands as they strolled into the night The moonlight was a perfect dim when he got down on one knee, God‘s plan for love was taking shape and tonight was just for them I whispered carpe diem and then smiled and let them be. I watched the morning come to life gazing at the horizon Seagulls glided above the surf wanting breakfast with the sun, Others have joined me on the shore for many different reasons The meaning of the sunrise is not the same for everyone.
