Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I just dreamt I needed to read the poem "Darklessness" It's makes no sense now As I slept I was troubled The resolve called into question over and over "What you need to understand is..." I've always got it wrong I live at the end of that sentence questioning whether "I do" all the time Then an easy question will be put to me, one that solves it all, if I just agree It's nice when through all the darkness and confusion the answer to everything is right there... I can taste it, nothing to worry about, perfection... It comes at no price at all... Well, I'm the price - just toe the line is the fee You just need to fit into the puzzle But I'm the wrong shape So I can agree to stay but everything is pointed out day after day to try and make me the right shape One puzzle piece can't be happy alone So my choices are stark The promises sound so enticing... I'll be so happy when everything changes I won't have changed though All my edges will be the wrong ones I'm tired now, it's 2am and the same feeling of being dragged back to sleep overlays the "all the unanswered questions" point I have written on my piece of paper, that I'll surely drop in the dream, you can't read in dreams I believe So I woke with "Darklessness" but nothing else It's not a word but should mean "no dark" I'm stumbling into thinking whether soundlessness and noiselessness mean silence? Does without dark mean light? It's different I might make my choice and be "without sad" But I really want to choose "happy"
