Chasing Shadows In the Breath of Dreams
A long-awaited breeze interacts with the curtains; you now have my full attention. Where will this newfound focus take me? Touch my every sensation, no promises needed. The hunter has just hunted, cannot rescue all. Safer on the other side shall not let another one fall. Food on the table for another week, outside looking in, the eyes of the meek. Sigh, heavy weight, pressure on the ears, never too late to give me what you crave? "Here, you have inherited the earth, use it as you please." Walked alongside it all, not uttering a word until the fence gets torn apart. Sarcastic comments and laughs, one is not as close as one may think, glass trinkets. Time departs. Waving the hand to all of it. Where is the heart that holds mine, tightly under the same sky? "Words not for this night." High-pitched sound, though so gentle, can almost reach to touch, waters between. What will the next dream bring?
