Bones Ache, Yet Heart Sings
Bones ache, yet heart sings our Lord's praise, He accepts us just as we are, Unmerited grace does amaze, For He has led us safe thus far. He is that shining Morning Star, Who sets my heart, with joy, ablaze, His love for us is beyond par, Bones ache, yet heart sings our Lord's praise. The Cross has attracted my gaze, For our sins, Him, they did mar, Unto Jesus, my soul I raise, He accepts us just as we are. The only Sinless Avatar Came down to blot our yesterdays, For us, His body, they did scar, Unmerited grace does amaze. He's Just and righteous are His ways, How did we come on His radar? Indebted to Him, all our days, For He has led us safe thus far. Incomparable and bizarre Is His love, I'm left in a daze, If I could take up a guitar, For Him alone, I'd play always, Bones ache, yet heart sings.
