Hair
I am black and only cover your head I am dead yet you strife to keep me alive You bathe me with expensive soaps scent me with fragrant perfumes and sprays feed me with nutrients exported over seas and air you give me such priceless value yet I am dead not alive. You dress me with cloths decorated with beads, colors and different patterns you plait me in marvelous styles soften me with chemicals of foreign smell you seem not to know that I am dead not alive You change my color, heat me with excess blaze under a scotching umbrella-like heater to steam me and change my structure you seem to forget that I am dead not alive I am black and only cover your head I am dead yet you strife to keep me alive I am just like nails which you cut when they are long why don't you do me the same.
