Footprints In the Sand
Progression to what is exactly, Start to finish, That progress? Always a journey's end... I see you in disagreement, Is that not correct? Are you a chaser, Do you enjoy the pursuit instead? Unravel your mind, As soon as you set something in motion, it shall end. Your experience is different from one that expects, So tell me, Add it to mine, Once known, can I say I've been a part of it? What you saw didn't faze you, Can I take that strength now that I see Would you like to take a part of me? ...Now, do we have something in common? If we didn't, will I have to give it back, Forever unforgotten, A negative, a black mark on my soul, How pathetic. A series of one's mistakes, if not accepted... Wouldn't know if one tries, right? The advanced state, a destination of fate, The outcome will be reached, Footprints in the sand from one end of the beach, Sun's progress to twilight to repeat, Is there truly a destination? I can only think of one.
