Who Are You Looking At
I like to pick a song and put it on repeat Immerse myself in it I'm not sure there's anything to learn from this exploration My recent micro obsessions have been All or Nothing by Small Faces Don't let me be misunderstood by The Animals Into My Arms by Nick Cave Currently it's Will You by Hazel O'Connor The dog really liked my rendition of Into My Arms I don't like being asked why I'm listening to a certain song There's nothing to explain, I just am Perhaps there's an intensity of focus Absorbing it in totality It's funny to think about what something says about you but shut down anyone asking... Maybe my attitude needs a rethink. As a Mancunian the "you alright?" question needed a small pause so I didn't respond with "what do you mean?" Wonder if they are starting something and follow up with "Take a look at yourself first" Perhaps a little of that lingers
