Dagger Torn Grief
"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief" Quote by _Constance La France It's not always - this tearing pain occurs, yet, so often, As though it has taken my heart on lease for its coffin; Somewhere, in a corner, hangs this dagger. I don't know where, I can feel the pain; I am unable to mark the tear...! My pain is not new, nor my grief vivid; nor the tear rear, The dagger has been hurting in some corner; pains I bear; Unknown feelings are born and they die; tearing and wearing, No one is seen nursing my wounds, and, for my needs, caring...! There is, yet, some pleasantness I feel in this unseen tear, Is it a symbol of some fine mercy beyond compare? Unknown bleeding within is pooling many a feeling, Amidst dagger and tear and pain and grief I feel healing...!!! 15 May 2023
