Procrastination
I’ll do it later Books, I’m sorry But I’m now a hater Not to worry There is this weight That lessens my fate That I find tight To unravel and fight Exactly when my alarm clock rings It’s melody is fatal as it sings. But why beat around the bushes when I can say it right to its face Hey you, procrastination lets cut the chase Here is your eviction notice effective today Incase you didn't notice you’ve lived here for far too long And you’ve never paid rent I am done with you I’m done postponing my dreams just cos your wife laziness is on her maternity leave! I’m done withholding myself from opportunities just cos she’s given birth to fear! I’m done not moving forward in life just cos your pet dog stagnation keeps crossing the line! I’m sorry but it not my fault that your aunt depression went to jail for attempting to murder my happiness! I’m giving you five minutes to evacuate And as you pack, Leave my rent on the table I’ll use it to rebuild what you have destroyed One more thing, never again Try to curse what God has blessed!
