I meandered around clothes rack trying to find her again. I wanted one more glimpse of that ugly color. As I peeked directly into a mirror I realized... It was my own hair, a gorgeous burgundy at my house. But apparently a dull ugly weird orchid color in a department store. I left immediately, relishing my color in my rearview mirror, outside.
