Territorial Waters
They stand on territorial waters waiting for the morning to raise; hearts united with the sun and the rain beckoning you to come. You stand between the pinnacles of time waiting for the sun to shine, and the hope for the moment to rebirth the divine while the doubtful keep lingering behind and I felt the morning embracing the sun with victory on the run. I could feel the tension floating in the air while they stood anxiously waiting over there, hands on cheeks, message on foot and important notes written in the book. They sat up all night with tension bubbling inside waiting for the daybreak. They must have had five cups of coffee to keep them awake while they put on the finishing touch around the gate. Everything was in place and all the details touched and I watched them moving around with their bush painting over the wall with a unique design that accentuate my mind and stunned everyone that looked at it. It was no ordinary painting, it had no color or form, it had no edges or texture, and it is just the painting that made you think; It made everyone speechless. The cock began to crow while anxiety starts to grow, with determination working from the back I made my way to the very top. Everyone stood under the trees as the crowd starts flowing in; perfume starts mixing with perfume and body cream with strong scent saturated my dream. They all waited in anticipation as the morning come alive with vigor and sentiments walking by their sides. I caught up with a subtle laughter as I penetrate their curious faces, and the moon hanging behind their backs and tradition running a tedious lap. The occasion was grand, and the morning hymn began to sing a pivotal song and all that listen to it understood it. The grand Duke of York finalized it, and the Priest of Canterbury conducted the grand ceremony. Such exquisite adornment with fine lines and thread that live a century ago, mingled with modern lines to entertain the dead. It’s simple but it’s strong and if beauty could speak, It would tell you something about territorial waters flowing in the deep. My heart is watching you riding around on horse backs and your military men and soldiers standing at attention while the dignitary is standing in line listening to a profound message flowing over territorial waters and little girls sitting on top of their daddies shoulder, showing off their new shoes and frocks watching the spectacular parade flowing through the street. And not too far from there the heat is rising in the kitchen and the women are preparing for a hot celebration that will set the territorial waters ablaze so get something to wave!
