Push and Pull
It’s funny how I suddenly felt extremely beautiful after they constantly mentioned it. It’s funny how I am extremely happy after I’ve talked to them for a few minutes or hours. It’s funny how all of a sudden I need to maintain this and think about its implications in my life overall. It’s funny how I have this subconscious restraint that I only release when I’m not around them. It’s funny how I’m constantly trying to decipher their true motives from my encounter with them. It’s funny how tired I get from having too much information about them yet that’s initially what I seemed to desire. It’s funny how there is this great anticipation on what people’s opinion on my taste will be. It’s funny how I imagined heartbreak at the onset of passion. It’s funny how I feel this emptiness yet this release without them It’s funny how confused I get when I think of their presence.
