Carry On
On this highway im just passing through From the well of life I drew For strength to carry my load Seems so long , this road The ties that bind Makes one blind So I find Burdens I carry At times , makes my mind scary Trying to move ahead Sometimes on thin ice I tread Why ain't I dead Lost to the years In that river of tears Beyond reach Life can teach Used to preach One day Lost my way No longer did I care Didn't dare Memories of days gone by Still can make me cry Why to Didn't I die Into the darkness sunk my mind No life left to find Got left behind Lost to the river of pain It held life in disdain Life Is the strife No reason to go on but I do Till the last breath has flew Kiss off dew Tis sad Maybe a little bad For that's the day I'll be again glad All I have is my pen Till then Can't find Peace of mind Don't care Don't dare No, not fare Tomorrow Still sorrow But I'll still be here walking foward Ever towards What I don't know Tomorrow won't show So I go blind Hopefully someday to find Something left behind
