Clearly Written In Sky
--- but as if patiently waiting to be translated back into Earth again --- : inscribed timeworn standing stone stelae --- things in themselves --- as if half-expecting that at any moment the next traveler will arrive there, the one fully fluent in Cosmos. Geography becomes credo at the four overgrown corners of the world. *** The only innocent one in the entire mess ________________________________ nevertheless, She must --- it's been decided for Her and that is that -- pay the price. They show Her the door out of Her own house. The wolf there can't resist taking one last dig at Her on Her way out into the light of day. Already intent on Her revenge, She looks back and flashes them all a magnificently dirty smile. *** Entheogen House ______________ Sprawling manor, far away from the city push and shove. Nestled in dappled daylight in a leafy notch cut deep into the forest. Garden oasis, bona fide therapeutic psychedelics research center. Mill house nearby, old. Mill wheel turns glistening. Brook babbles flowing through and by. Research center test subjects faithfully, excitedly gather on the wide pastel pink tiled patio: First order of the day --- of every day, in fact, for now --- ingestion 100 mg ___ . Academe becomes new bohemia. An hour or so passes. Test subjects begin to giggle nervously, rapt and wall eyed, huddled together like wayward long haired monks. All about, the very air seems super charged, seemingly alive. In the flower garden there by the patio, indescribably radiant red roses grow as large as houses. Great crimson whorls splay open as if doors. No longer bound by water, gnostic fish hover, calm and unaware, shimmering a meter or so above the garden. The perceivers and the perceived become as one, all springing from the Here and the Now. Time comes to its due stop. Be they all mere illusions or no is no matter --- and if an illusion helps and heals, does it really have no substance? Today is a day of sincere, lawful inquiry, one's rightful place in a bigger, more meaningful picture. *** City by numbers _____________ Summer settles in, afternoon disappearing, afternoon heat and grit lingering. Continued hum of commerce and pleasure. New hour of bustle. Asphalt chrome, sunset glass and steel. Carefree laughter. Cheap talk. Cheap shots. Cheap perfume. A glimmer of hope. Sun sets, hovers older than the hills, just over the skyline. Third Eye opens wide.
