Someday
Once upon a time-a girl was sitting on the bleachers. Mesmerised by the jocks' good-looks and features. Suddenly, a cute guy ran past her, Not sparing her a glance, he ran faster, He was the one, from the team opponent to her support, After the match, her bestie was all smiles. Introduced her to a guy from the team she used to despise, He smiled and they shook hands- Her tummy did a wild dance. They started to hang out. He was all she dreamed about. Soon they started dating, They were perfect for each other's fitting. Years went by great. But there were other games planned by fate; One day, they fought like crazy.. The details are though a little hazy. His friends bad mouthed her, Making their relation grow distant and far. Soon due to lack of communication, Their love got lack of motivation. Fights became a regular ritual, Nothing was anymore mutual. Time went by draging them through high-school, Though now their relation was sour and foul. One day, he just broke up, Cutting all communications. She tried to make him stay but in vain. There was nothing she could do to sustain. His thoughts made her crazy, Nothing could keep her mind off of him and busy, All she could do was wait, For the return of her mate. Her only task all day was cursing her fate. Maybe he would return and maybe not, That's for another poem for me to jot.
