What a Crazy Little Dream
There was a crazy little man, Who led a crazy little life. Had no one to call a friend, And he never took a wife. Lived in his home all alone, Not even a dog by his side. When he wasn't loudly ranting, Laid in bed and softly cried. He heard voices in his head, And they told him what to do. If he ignored just what they said, The pain inside his head just grew. When he walked along the street, Would talk to himself out loud. When he got near other people, He'd shout or laugh at the crowd. After years of tortured thoughts, He couldn't take it any more. So he doused his room with gas, And tossed a match onto the floor. As the flames engulfed his house, All the neighbors heard him scream. And the last words that he said, "What a crazy little dream."
