It was furnished too A bin had been turned upside down For a table And there was a cushion for a seat I try to recreate things like that sometimes For my girls I've battled with bamboo canes And sparkly material and pegs The special blanket Samson used to love And some giant old cushions I hope it's better than the fancy ones Today I've bought oil paints, scrapers and card With the idea we'll be abstract artists Like a YouTuber tried on her Friday special And I won't go down in history As the best ever But one of these memories Will imprint to be something more And it'll pass forward *Wooden device for drying washing *Samson our cat who died in 2020
