Your Ticket To An Endless Stream of Consciousness
Are you out of your goddamn mind? What even is a TOS at this point anyway? Copper meets gray matter in a stellar show! Self-inflicted; this is what your ticket paid for! Here's your endless stream of consciousness Concisely squished into 2500 characters What a limitation! The English-only aspect feels racist. Summer heat, the concept of the endless Have you gotten sick of tropes I've written for twelve years yet? This is Derek's show baby, shut up and sit down And be the silent therapist you were born to be. What do you all do beyond make a number tick higher? Full lives, deaths, pains of existence So long as 100 becomes 101 I smile at the watchers as they come Cane sugar Molasses Water Time Let's not see you use thyme That simply wouldn't mix well with ginger ale Because this ginger's ails need something familiar That no pill or oval stone could ever satisfy The world's a play and I'm the actor If the world ends with me, so too do you feel it Blackened sky, no sunshine that ever existed One brain cell among trillions in God's cursed skull Did you miss me in 2022? I found new mediums to complain about my life in More interesting characters to entertain No comment limitations to bind the audience Burn bright, O Sainted Phoenix! So bright I figure you set out to burn me For the sin of acknowledging who I was inside Is your God incompatible with my joy? Pink, blue, white A bisexual prediction, more accurate than I could realize Cursed in body, in lover's toolkit The blacksmith meant to be the anvil So speak your words, O Sainted Phoenix! Would you have bent your worldview again? For a mediocre white woman born as a mediocre white man? Born to die as the world cast daggers? 41? It would be less than 1 if you would simply smile instead Religion born of hatred and not the words of a Messiah Jesus preached love; what are you freaks preaching? God's mistake? God doesn't watch. His automation simply casting mistakes into the aether And as his son preached love; preached acceptance for all You consider yourselves saints as you maim freely. So may you burn brightly, those who watch If you watch so callously as we writhe for your amusement If this is the fate you wish upon us May it embrace you tenfold So speak, O Sainted Phoenix Faced with an endless stream of consciousness Having seen me low, could you face me even lower? Or do I simply hate you more than you could hate me?
