The Agony of Indecision
Disgusted, dejected, sad, and mad. I find myself turning into a monster. Everyone sees what I appear to be. But nobody knows what a smile can hide. Exams, exams, all these damn exams. Leaving me exhausted and feeling useless. Killing all the zeal to learn something new. Leaving me unable to discover something true. And every day, every single day I feel myself slipping further away. It bothers me, every now and then. How did I end up in this pitiful state again? No one to blame, it's the life I chose. I wish I had the courage to say no. To play different roles for the people I love But at the end of the day, it's just a wicked game. Were you a pawn or king in somebody else's play? Oh darling, please don't hurt yourself. I know you didn't get to pick and choose. In a blink of an eye, you're forgotten. The world just moves on before you even try. You are ignored, hated, disrespected. Still, expected to act kind and humble. Success, success, everyone wants to succeed. But the universe plans to pull you down to nothing. Going insane thinking about my younger self. Who wished to grow up every single day. I bet she'd regret if she finds herself in this state. Caught in a web of confusion and indecision. Yearning for adventure and a sense of direction But trapped in a cycle of frustration and reflection.
