Junk
as a species, we seem obsessed with collecting junk we've been doing so ever since we stopped being hunter-gathers and started farming the land we soon started collecting broken spear tips, and old bones to decorate our huts and other things that fueled our interest until junk morphed into wealth civilization gave rise to all kinds of throw-away items and yet so few things ever got thrown away we invented junk these days we have designated drawers and whole rooms filled with useless junk and we're always eager to store even more from whoopee cushions to exercise equipment we tend to hang onto our junk the flame of consumerism is fueled by an endless supply of junk and we measure its value by the amount we collect (Suzette Prime ) 03/06/2023 Writing Challenge - ''J'' Words Sponsored by: Constance La France Suzette Prime Created by Suzette Richards. Syllable count: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, etc. Any topic which lends itself to a philosophical statement is suitable for “Suzette Prime.” A prime number syllable count combination may be used per line to avoid mirror images, which will detract from the freestyle feel. The line breaks serve as punctuation, and no caps are used unless it is called for. A prime number is a number bigger than one with no other divisors besides one and itself.
