Alien Alert
Alert! Alert! Listen and beware! We’re being spied on with human hardware – sophisticated telescopic eyes in the vicinity of our open skies – to detect if life like theirs exists on our planet. But don’t be fooled, it’s just another of their endeavors to conquer the universe as aggressors. Their exploitive bloody history is proof enough of their duplicity. We wouldn’t mind a visit, frankly, but they’d quickly claim us as a colony – on the grounds of imminent domain, a legal term they use for selfish gain. And then they’d use us as a base for further explorations into space. Worse, they’d poison us with their culture – selfish, cheap, hedonistic, vulgar. We needn’t fear or become anxious photos are as close as they’ll get to us. To see us face to face will never happen for, technologically, they’re still cavemen. Imagine the size of the spaceship they’d need to make so long a cosmic trip succeed! Imagine the quantities of food and air they’d have to bring along, and some to spare. And how get rid of all that human waste, how else but ejected into outer space! They’ve yet to figure out a sound solution to Earth’s climate change and air pollution. Besides, unless they claim to be immortal, how far in space can they hope to travel?
