I was inspired after watching a gentleman called Liam play it on television yesterday for a show called The Piano. I wrote the poem in the 15 or so minutes wait time to collect my daughter from Guides. Today Liam was a visiting artist where I had an art class and I got to tell him how he had inspired me to listen to Chopin. He is a wonderful man and it was nice to be able discuss how seeing him play inspired me. I had no knowledge I'd ever meet him but it was really beautiful. Then I chatted with a VIP in relation to the lino print I've done and shown her the poem connected to it (Filigree) and it's going to go on display in a gallery. Lovely day that really gave me faith in myself
