Music of My Soul
"The less I seek my source, closer I am to fine, closer I am to fine. " From Closer To Fine by _ Indigo Girls I have been on a journey . . . in this life . . . looking for answers people have told me let go of your grief for life is very short a ripple in time that is fleeting ~ but I fall into pits of darkness with no light . . . but still deep within me a fire burns and I crawl out ~ I carry my grief like a heavy cloak as I set sail for my true north I battle the storms and the crashing waves and sometimes I sink back into the darkness only to crawl out again ~ I saw my doctor and he said . . . time heals so, I went to the forest and mountains walking among trees and drank from cool streams ~ The life path that I follow is tangled and in my seeking the trees became my bones and the rivers my blood and the sounds of the forest became the music to my soul the silence is the pounding of my heart and I felt closer . . . closer to fine for the answer was "within me". . . ~ I went to Buddha and he said meditate I spent hours seeking my higher mind I prayed to God above on my knees each day and never felt closer to him then, I went back to nature and my source for the forest knows my thoughts . . . feels my soul . . . and this is . . . where I am closer to fine ~
