Christ For Sins
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18 NIV Oh, how we needed this my friends Myself, mostly how could one reject This opportunity of a life time Walking in blindness of the unseen Which was holding me to focus on the seen Tripping, stumbling around into a ditch Following the other guides of this world The clutter and debris was clogging this ditch When the rain come down the mountain one day Flowing like a raging river with nothing To grab ahold of pushing me under the debris Looking for all the others which lead me here Tired and about to give up in this fight Not that I wanted to die but have lost hope That there was anything with purpose to live for This is all spiritual battle within in this poem Finally in finding the red letters of Jesus To be snatched out the ditch about to drown With a new purpose and meaning being taught And guided on a new path leaving old self in the ditch Jesus placed a spirit within to teach Which in these times one can see this world rejects As did myself before God revealed different Lord knows we all need help in these times This world is run by the evil one Which is why Jesus had to sacrifice Himself That we might have a way to return to God Not of own works but through Christ spirit To allow this new covenant birthed from Pentacost To spread like wildfire the evil one can not stop None are good and myself was bad as any If we could be good to please God in own works Then Jesus death is in vain But through His death we have available A fresh new start to this new life within All one has done can be thrown away left in the ditch To put to death the old ways in the body Allowing the spirit within to give life A new beginning of Christ to reign within But then one shall see it's a battle of the unseen To be pulled away from the chaos these blinded eyes once seen that caused disbelief Remembering these are lost people as was I Nothing I could do but get tired of fighting Against God which I didn't even realize Until God revealed the times He was there When satan was leading me to death My will is no good and needs to be put to death In order the will of Christ might come alive and lead Christ fills with love, peace, joy, humility, self control, gentleness, into a new creation. But indeed nothing has gotten easy but a longing That another might receive His love The corruption, darkness, deception, division and wickedness leaves me in awe in these times. I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ Acts 26:17?-?18 NIV
