The Light
Light pours out across the hills, Destroying the darkness With its reflections and sparks Crystal clear, glistening Through the doubts and confusion, Awakening the silent yearnings, Hopes lost in the past, Dreams that you thought wouldn’t last Light disturbs the secrets, silent Amid the burning leaves, Autumn’s breathlessness on display Writing miracles to the wind, Singing grace through the prayers, Stirring wishes, fantasies, In hues of amber, gold and scarlet Rays of vibrant, energetic Leaves so vivid and bright, alive Like the autumn – so inviting Light erases the mystery, Quiet snowfalls, blessing the earth In graceful glory, wonder – fresh Like the feelings who bring gentling Feelings, miracles so soothing, Promising the moon and glittering Like starlight unfolding on the night, Rich as the sensation of laughter, Silencing the fears, weary tears, Who leave the heart breaking, the Soul quaking, trembling Beneath the crisp, cool mornings Winter, restoring the heart In a melody of growing insight Light betrays the night, Risking every glimmer, every sparkle With the glowing promises From the moments when hope Sent her first wisdoms, intervening Between doubt and confusion, Removing the illusions, the tricks Semblances of anxiety, dread Worrying the moments, hesitating To give way to the wonders Flowing across the heavens in rich, Vibrant hues, silhouettes Beneath the shadows, the light Trickling through the clouds, Hushing suspicions and rousing The whimsical, the wistful, Miracles as alive as the next moment Happening just beyond the soul’s Singing, the song alive Like the music in the wind’s feathery Hesitation through the leaves, Breathing like the melody of autumn Light, His light – brings a peace Beyond description, serenity Like the sounds of wings sailing Across forever, coasting Just beneath the clouds, whistling In tunes that seem endless As the soaring sentiments of praise Gasping glimpses from amazing Passages, journeying from forever, Eternal like the grace, the heaviness Light’s flames, His flowing appearing The force of His spirit, impressing On the heart, the soul – love Like no other force in the world Love – that sparkles in the glistening Miracle of a Son who is the Wonderful Beyond description, the Wonderful That heals every fear, wipes away each tear, Silences the darkness and reminds hearts To listen to His light falling across the soul, Inspiring the feeling, the Love that is His gift – His glowing tenderness, flowing Through the heart and soul who knows He is the Wonderful that is invincible, Indefinable, unutterable – He is the light That breaks away the doubt, colors Hearts in hope and souls in joy unspeakable! He really is the Wonderful - the light illuminates With the unending faith inspired by His grace! He is love – He is everything sent from above!
