But then…then a comment comes in, and leads me back to the rosy Poetry Soup’s front door! At times, I ponder, it is just sheer madness! Or, do I pen out of love of life, including. …. the pathos, the sadness. It’s all a mystery to me at this point. Friends that were close, like vapor disappear. Worse, becoming friends with my worst enemies here! They become bombs, like Hiroshima and that friendship blown to Smitherrens. Just like a destroyed building in a war zone, a destroyed chimney stands amongst the rubble. At times like this, I wonder…,who can I trust my heart to? Because……that is where my poetry springs from and is about! Certailnly, not from a form!! Do I get read! Yes! Comments …sparse and very few but highly valued, And those souls I highly cherish!!
