Give-R Hell
In the year 1995 They strengthen up their frame It must be sturdy it must strong To play her deadly game In the year of 96 Their last year alive In month 5 on day 10 They struggle to survive Two write books Of that fatal Day Writing down memories of fear and dismay Putting to words how mother earth shook And speak of 8 souls that mountain took Story of the Texan that mountain could not claim His story now a legend Weathers was his name His fingers black, he had no sight, barely stand at all What he fought on that mountain, his injuries seemed so small He made it home from the mountain of hell To us one day , the story he’d tell Off that mountain and out of her reach He calls for his wife, his sweet little Peach Late on her peak, storms rolling in Scott and Rob’s fate , it now sinks in In worst of storms they climb from her peak Peace in death, now all they could seek She caught his call, Rob’s final one He hasn’t much time and nowhere to run Sara the name for his daughter to be Sweet precious girl he’d never see Up near her peak, strength now gone Admitting defeat and hope they are wrong It is too her fury they must now resign A peaceful death given in very short time Me myself, I’ll take a seat And think of ones that she still keeps Before surrender or accepting defeat They each gave’r hell From 30,000 Feet
