My Country Has Two Faces
My country has two faces A face where one thousand people share one toilet And a face where one thousand toilets share one person My country has two faces A face where In the farm there's no toilet There is none in the plantation The grounds are naked You walk like a dancer holding back the documents rotting in your buttocks Lest you mess your pants my country has two faces On the other face A toilet sits and waits For a user who never comes Because at home there's a toilet At the mall, a toilet In the office, a toilet In the kitchen, a toilet In his yard, a toilet At the lounge, the hallway, the holding room A toilet here, a toilet there There are toilets everywhere One thousand toilets sharing one person. What will the toilet do While waiting? My Country has two faces The face of the well fed with things that ever never change And the face of the fed up With things that never ever change My Country has two faces The face of those who vote For those who matter And those who matter For those who vote They all go back their opposite ways My country has two faces The face of jokers Whose children study abroad And the face of jackals Whose children are studied abroad Like stain on microscope My country has two faces The face of those who pray With eyes closed For them to see God In His hallowed Throne And the faces of those who pray With their eyes open As they monitor the devil too They all say Amen My country has two faces The faces of those who fake a smile And the faces of those who fake a cry Before they all fade in vanity. What if the pressure behind The big bold boot bursts Breaking the bottom banks Spilling the spoils over the faces The desperate toilets are mobilizing The toilets are boiling It will not be long And we have two brand new faces A fierce face to Fear And another facing fear My country has two faces Let me hide my face!
