The Wise Still Worship
When Christ was born the wise men came to seek a king, they could not name. from heathen land, they traveled far cross desert sand, led by a star. Where is the child, the newborn king? the one of whom the angels sing. We’ve come to worship and adore this one who lived in days of yore. The wise men soon conclusion drew that Israel’s leaders had no clue about the Savior of their race who came to bring amazing grace. Led by the star, they found the child with humble parents, meek and mild. His presence did their worship spur with gifts, gold, frankincense, and myrrh. His birth is still a mystery as it was in all history. The Jews could not the strange news vet while Herod saw it as a threat. Today, reactions are the same whenever people hear Christ’s name. Many still view Him as a threat And some become very upset. Like the wise men who journeyed far The wise still worship heaven’s czar. They praise the one whom Judas sold offering gifts of purest gold.
